Youth Sewing Class Series Fall 2026 Tuesday Afternoons 3:30-4:30pm (14 sessions)

Weekly Fall sewing class series for ages 10-16 where students will learn sewing machine basics and complete small sewing projects as they hone their sewing skills. This class will be limited to 6 students and will follow the Brentwood Academy/Williamson Co school schedule
This class is TUESDAYS from 3:30-4:30pm and is hosted in my classroom. Exact address and drop-off/pickup locations will be sent after sign up. 14 one hour sessions will be included in this series, along with one makeup session to be scheduled in December. This series will run through the following dates in August-December of 2026:
August: 25
September: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
October 6, 20, 27
November 3, 10, 17
December 1, 8
*one make-up class will be offered at the end of this course and scheduled as needed. There will be no refunds for missed classes or late arrivals.
A $50 materials fee is included in the cost of this course--there will be no extra fees. Students are welcome to bring their own fabric if they have strong preferences for projects we will complete. Sewing machines will be provided for class and all students will get to choose 1 yard of custom fabric to use for projects throughout the series.

Is this product sustainable?
We source our fabrics as responsibly as possible. Our current collections are made out of 90% thrifted materials that have been repurposed for a new life.
Are the drawstrings functional?
No. Our drawstrings are faux drawstrings that are securely sewn onto each pair of shorties. We found this to be the safest option for the fun drawstring look!
Why are there limited sizes for each item?
We use upcycled fabrics to make each of our items, our items are one-of-a-kind. Rarely do we have enough fabric to make more than 2-3 items from each upcycled piece of fabric. If you see a color or style that you like but it is out of stock, let us know and we can work to find something similar for you!
